1 loaf hearty bread (French, Tuscan, etc.)
3-5 Garlic cloves
Extra Virgin olive oil

Slice loaf into 1-inch thick slices. Place on a hot grill. When one side has grilled appropriately (has nice grill marks), turn to the other side and do the same.

Crush garlic cloves with the backside of the knife. Remove the clove and rub on the edges of each slice. Place on a platter and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with fresh basil leaves and a mild cheese.
